In 1972, for the rehabilitation and empowerment of women affected by the liberation war, the institutional journey of women development through the formation of 'Women Rehabilitation Board' was started in 1972. National Women's Association was established on 17 February 1976 under organizational structure as a result of the directive given to the Director General of the Department of Social Welfare, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Later on, the organization of the organization became more fruitful and strengthened by the National Women's Association Act, 1991 (Act No. 9 of 1991), the National Women Organization of 1991, establishing a constructive organization. And in 1992 a branch office of Mymensingh District National Women Organization was opened. The National Women Organization of Mymensingh District Branch is currently being managed fairly and neatly.
